Summer Vacation - Michigan

We took our second annual trip to Central Lake Michigan.  Its a long drive, but so worth it.  We stayed at a family friends lake cabin that sits off of Intermediate Lake.  Its long and narrow and you can kayak across it.

We also visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is a very cool spot!  Those pictures will be in another post.

Day 2 started out by finding a large float in the garage.  Leave it to the sisters to find unconventional ways to move it down to the lake.

Yes, that's a kiddie pool full of water.  It was filled up at the house and carried to the lake.  Anyone else see the irony there?

A different raft was found, and it came with no holes!  Stayed afloat all week!

Levi is the master at rock skipping.

And he quickly mastered kayaking this year!  Next we we will go on a long kayak trip.

I think these swans really like vacationers.  They get fed regularly.

Chair pushing is a sport I never knew existed until this vacation.  The kids are masters at it.

Surprisingly this was not posed.  These two put themselves in the chair all by themselves!

Levi got a bigger fish this year.  Next year I am going to get it mounted for him.
